Miss Universe Malaysia 2010!

"Miss Universe 2010 will be the the 59th Miss Universe pageant, the venue to be announcement. Stefanía Fernández from Venezuela, Miss Universe 2009, will crown her successor at the end of this event. More than 80 countries and territories will compete for the title and the pageant will broadcast live on NBC and Telemundo. It is a big event indeed where the prettiest and most outstanding lady will represent Malaysia for Miss Universe 2010."

MUMO is here once again! And I was lucky enough to go as a Blogger under Advertlets for the final casting of Miss Universe Malaysia 2010 which was located at Royale Chulan Hotel last Saturday.

A whole lot of pretty ladies were there for the auditions on Saturday, and the Top 18 were also chosen on the very day.

Since I've took quite an amount of photos, I'll just post a few up. Full picture post up next month together with other pending posts!

Evolusi KL Drift 2 Review

Yesterday was EKLD2's premiere at GSC, Mid Valley! Movie wasn't too bad for a local production. 100 people were wearing the same EKLD2 limited edition shirt!
Here's a synopsis of the movie:

"Racing life between Zack and Sham has not ended yet. Zack is not an illegal racer like before. Now he is a professional drifter

In the meantime after the accident occurred, Sham is no more a drifter because of his broken leg and has to walk with the help of crouches. The incident and his disability are making his own life dark.

Beneath the chaos, comes a female professional drifter name as Aleeya. Aleeya was envy of Zack’s skill in the racing track.

Joe, who managed to escape from death of the accident, still put a big revenge on Zack. The deep scars on his face strengthen his will to destroy Zack and his people.

Ery, who is also Joe’s assistant too keep revenge onto Zack because his best friend, Karl was being lock up in jail because of Zack. Besides hunting for Zack, Joe wishes to monopoly the whole drug business syndicate in KL.

Inspector Kamal suspects Joe for a few crimes that involve deaths.

How is the ending of their new race in their life-tracks this time? Will they be able to reach the finish line without complication? Together we watch it !"

My thoughts on the movie?
Good, very nice drift acts, but a tad too much of romance in the movie, unexpected ending, Aleya (Scha) moved her hand a little while she was lying down on the floor dead at the ending of the movie. The RX-7 plunging act in Putrajaya was REAL, no video editting and crap, so there goes a nice Mazda RX-7 driven by Ery (Shaheizy Sam). Too much gangster acts but very nice storyline. Give it a 7/10.

EKLD2 Carnival!

In one of my previous post, I blogged about this event which was gonna happen on Saturday, 20th of March. And the response was overwhelming with many people who attended, many cars that were exhibited, drift shows, taxi rides, photo sessions with the EKLD2 artists.

So this is just a detailed teaser post, the detailed picture post will be up in April, when I'm feeling more hardworking ;)

Great event, only downside was:
1) I didnt manage to sit for the taxi ride.
2) My media tag won the lucky draw for the taxi ride.
3) But I left already D:
4) I look uber dark now, sun burn. Tsk!

By the way, dont act foolishly when you're in the donut drift circle ;)

Spicy Beef Ribeye Pizza Steak!

Just got back from the auditions of Ms. Universe Malaysia 2010, had lunch with Jason Ong, Azrin & Feeq @ Kitchen Creatures, Centrepoint just now.

I ordered a Ribeye Steak & House Special Root Beer, so NAIS can!

Ribeye Steak RM16 only! Decent sized portion & the meat is tender, medium wet!

House Special Root Beer, RM4.50. Rootbeer with very thin shreds of ginger, tastes refreshing and good!

We also ordered a Spicy Beef Pepperoni pizza to share, tasty!

Spicy Beef Pepperoni, moderate spicyness, they dont stinge on their ingredients so it's a good to go!

Traffic D' Light Cafe Food Tasting Session!

Many thanks to Feeq & Advertlets, I was invited to Traffic D' Light Cafe which is located at Pelangi Square, somewhere near Bandar Utama for a food tasting session on the 25th of February.

About 30 chosen bloggers were invited for this review also, which means... NOT ENOUGH FOOD~~~! The portion is for about 3 people (As it's served in 3 plates only), and each of us just took 1 taste and carried on to the next dish.

Didnt manage to take much pics as I was busy camping waiting for the food to be served hahaha :D

Jasmine Green Tea, nothing to comment about cause it's just... Jasmin Green Tea!

Decent tasting smoothies, too bad I dont have the name oops!

Limau Kasturi, Chocolate & Cappucino smoothie. Very thick & sweet, but the Limau Kasturi is slightly sweet & sour!

Mocktail soda's (From left) - Blue Curacao & Pineapple, Pineapple & Lemon, Strawberry & Pineapple.
It has the fruity taste while having a mild gassy feeling when being drank, very nice & refreshing.

Now, for the food.

*Caution! Non-halal food passing by!*
The first dish that was served, Braised Pork.
Slightly salty, but the meat was tender.

Fried Boxing Chicken, NICE! Can beat KFC any other day :)


Thai Kerabu Sotong - Slightly fail although it's said to be authentic Thai Kerabu. It was more of salty & spicy than sour. Could barely feel any lemon/lime taste in this dish.

Our portion LOL, that amount for 30 people!

For dessert now!

Sea coconut with snow fungus - BEST! According to fellow blogger Dustyhawk, he said it tasted like the traditional "Tok Tok" sweet which can be found in the night markets. And sure it has that taste! Great dessert!

Cendol - RM4.50 for such a big bowl! Not too bad, though their Gula Melaka is kinda tasteless, but very nice & big portion to embrace the hot weather nowadays!
